BASIC DMR 11 JUL 2026

Basic Designated Marksmanship Rifle Course:

We will look at the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship and get you comfortable running the weapon. The course length is 4hrs. Below are the outlines on what we will train on:

• Setup of the platform 

• Zero/ Confirm Zero (25/ 30 meters)

• Close Quarter Drills

• Walk it out to 300 meters

• Advanced Drills 

• Move and Shoot 

What you need to bring:

• 200rds for rifle

• 5.56 or 7.62 semi-automatic rifle with 3x mags

• Sling for rifle

• LPVO or magnified optic for rifle

• Gun belt or load bearing vest to carry 3x rifle mags

• Eye and ear protection

• Water source

• Appropriate clothing for range

Targets will be provided by HTG.
